Here is a list of the components that must be included if your project is to be an official science fair project.

• A research project with a study, one or more experiments and/or an innovation.
• A pre-fair report summarizing your project. (sample included in Manual)
• A good title to attract the public’s attention.
• A nice and attractive display with signs and props that effectively explain your project.
• A good oral presentation so that you can share your project with the public and judges.
• A log to show all the steps of your project.

Students must complete and submit an application form and Pre-Fair Report by the deadline printed on the application form.
